The Treasurer of the Society of Preventive Psychiatry sees to collecting the subscription fees, the contributions, the extraordinary contributions and in general, all sums due to the Society. Regarding all kinds of extraordinary expenses, the Treasurer of the Society of Preventive Psychiatry shall act after a specific decision of the Administrative Board

The Treasurer of the Society of Preventive Psychiatry sees to collecting the subscription fees, the contributions, the extraordinary contributions and in general, all sums due to the Society. The Treasurer collects and pays according to the decisions of the Administrative Board or of the Chairperson, regarding sums s/he has been trusted with by the Administrative Board, in order to cover current expenses. The Treasurer complies with related duties according to the annual budget, pays any fixed expenses (lease, payroll of regular staff, if any) and concludes payments on the basis of pay orders or written orders, signed by the Chairperson and the Secretary or by those replacing them according to the Articles.

Regarding all kinds of extraordinary expenses, the Treasurer of the Society of Preventive Psychiatry shall act after a specific decision of the Administrative Board. The Society’s money, which is deposed in a bank account, can be withdrawn by the Treasurer and the Secretary or those replacing them. However, the signatures of all people mentioned above must have been previously known to the Bank. The sums that the Society of Preventive Psychiatry has trusted the Treasurer with, regarding current liabilities after a relevant decision of the Administrative Board are to be found in the Society’s treasury or in a common bank account in the name of the Chairperson, the Secretary and the Treasurer. These sums are withdrawn by the Treasurer and if s/he is absent or obstructed, they are withdrawn by the Chairperson or the Secretary. The sum to be founded in this account mentioned above is to have been previously set by the Administrative Board and a signed letter by all three must be kept in the Society’s records, stating that this money belongs to the Society of Preventive Psychiatry. In any case and for any payment, a legal order of pay or bill must be produced.

The Treasurer of the Society of Preventive Psychiatry issues relevant receipts when collecting the money. The money is deposed in the Society’s Treasury or in the bank account or in any other place legally defined by the Articles, following the procedures which are provided for. If the Treasurer is absent or obstructed, s/he is to be replaced by the Secretary General (or another member of the Administrative Board of the Society of Preventive Psychiatry that has been previously appointed).
