New educational initiative partnership between the World Psychiatric Association (WPA) and the American College of Cardiology NCD Academy on Mental Health Care established in July 2021

 

The Society of Preventive Psychiatry and all other WPA’s Affiliate Member Societies have been informed that a new educational initiative partnership between the World Psychiatric Association (WPA) and the American College of Cardiology NCD Academy on Mental Health Care has been ventured by the President of the World Psychiatric Association (WPA) Dr. Afzal Javed and established as of July 2021.

The aim of this initiative is to foster better integration of behavioural and mental health services at the primary care level.

Dr. Afzal Javed, President of the WPA, is pleased to make you aware of a new educational initiative that was sent out yesterday to all WPA Member Societies. This initiative is to foster better integration of behavioural and mental health services at the primary care level.
