Dear Colleagues and Friends
Our Society had its General Assembly on Friday, 23 February 2018.
The Outgoing Executive Committee of the Society of Preventive Psychiatry presented its Report which was received very positively by the membership.
The GENERAL ASSEMBLY REPORT OF THE SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES OF THE SOCIETY OF PREVENTIVE PSYCHIATRY 2015 – 2017 will be reported on in detail elsewhere but the two major activities can be mentioned here.
These were: The Third International Congress on Preventive Psychiatry held with great success in Athens and the Erasmus + Educational Program organized by our Society (basically by Nikos Christodoulou and Helen Gretsa) in Nottingham, U.K., which was very well received by the participants.
Elections were held and the following were elected:
- President: George Christodoulou
- Secretary General: Andreas Zachariadis
- Treasurer: Helen Gretsa
Following the elections the annual “New year good luck piece of cake” of the Society of Preventive Psychiatry was distributed to the participants according to the Greek New Year Festive tradition and the participating members wished the Society further progress.
