SUICIDALITY : How? When? Why?

Event and Lecture organized by the Society of Preventive Psychiatry on Friday 23rd November 2018, 6-8 p.m. at the Theocharakis Foundation, Vas. Sofias and 1 Merlin Str., Athens.

On Friday, 16 November, 2018, a speech by Professor Vasilis Bozikas and a discussion under the topic of Schizophrenia, the Queen of Psychoses took place at the Theocharakis Foundation. What was summed up during the Lecture, was that this situation, which once led the sufferers to be burned at the stake or move to a permanent asylum facility, is now being treated. However, there must be treatment consistency, as well as co-operation among the family members and among the wider society, especially in relation to the stigmatization of the sufferers.

The following Friday 23 November 2018, we will continue with a lecture under the topic of “Suicidality: How? When? Why?” at the Theocharakis Foundation, 6-8 pm, Vas. Sofias and 1 Merlin Str., Athens.

The problems associated with suicidality (suicide intention) and suicide (self-destruction) are self-evident.

During this lecture, you will be updated on existing facts and on further possibilities, as well as to the means of suicide prevention.
